Miscellaneous Information:
Please be advised that weather conditions affect not only fishing quality but water quality as well. If projected weather conditions deteriorate prior to the trip the trip coordinator may send out an email cancelling the trip. Wading can be challenging on the West Branch of the Ausable. Local guide have recommended felt wading boots in the past and a wading staff is highly recommended as well. Insects such as no-see-ums, black flies and mosquitoes can be problematic in the area we will be visiting. Strong insect repellent may be necessary. Sun block and rain gear are also recommended. Cell phone reception can be spotty along the West Branch of the Ausable River. AUSABLE RIVER MAP AUSABLE RIVER HATCH CHART |
