Beginners Fly Fishing Class - Sunday August 10, 2008

On Sunday August 10th, EJTU will hold a Beginners Fly Fishing Class at the Pequest Trout Hatchery. This all day event will cover the following fly fishing topics:


>Basic Equipment
>Rods, Reels and Lines
>Entomology
>Knots
>Fly Casting
>Fishing at the Educational Pond


Fly fishing equipment will be provided by the chapter however you may use your own. Just bring a lunch, some sun block and remember to dress accordingly for the weather. The class is held rain or shine.

We start at 10:00 am. Registration is required, can be made thru the Pequest Hatchery (908-637-4125) and start 2 weeks before the class.

Fly Casting for Beginners at the Pequest Fish Hatchery

Saturday, July 19 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Registration opens July 7

For ages 12 years old and up

Wildlife Conservation Corps members of the Central Jersey Chapter of Trout Unlimited will conduct this seminar for inexperienced fly fishers. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your casting skill. Equipment will be provided or you can bring your own. You should also bring sunglasses and dress for the weather. EVERYONE WELCOME
Non-members interested in hearing our speakers are welcome. You don't need to be a member to attend any of our meetings. Check "meeting locations" for directions.

EJTU members are encouraged to bring non-members to our meetings so they may learn about us and hopefully be inclined to join. Members will receive ten points for each new member they get to sign up.
